The Chinese search engine Baidu will music service
Search engine Baidu repeatedly criticized for its soft attitude towards the music pirates, and now it is planned to launch music service that contains only legitimate Tracks.
According to Reuters, a music service on the Internet portal Baidu (China) will be opened by May 2011 and will be called Baidu Ting.
Baidu Ting service will provide users with new features: listening to music in streaming mode, create your own music library, download your favorite tracks. As it became known, the service will be merged with sotsseti, although it is unclear to what exactly. Popular worldwide, Facebook and Twitter in China are blocked, but the country has extended their analogues.
In this case, all the music with Baidu Ting will be completely legal. At the moment, Baidu has already signed a contract with the EMI Group and discuss with other companies all the organizational issues, such as Sony Music Entertainment, Warner Music Group, Universal Music Group.
For any track that you downloaded by users, the company Baidu will allocate funds to the Society for the Protection of copyright in the music industry (MCSC) in China. Earn as Baidu Ting plans on advertising.
